ChargeXFinder is operated by Dxora ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy
governs the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information when you access or use the
ChargeXFinder mobile application (iOS and Android), website at chargexfinder.dxora.com, and all related services (collectively,
the "Platform").
By downloading, installing, or using ChargeXFinder, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree
to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
This policy is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology
(Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (as applicable).
02 Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile photo when you register
an account.
Vehicle Details: EV make, model, battery capacity, and preferred connector type.
Payment Information: UPI ID, wallet top-up amounts, and transaction records processed
through our secure payment gateway partners. We do not store full bank account or credit/debit card numbers on
our servers.
Host Station Data: Station location, charger specifications (kW rating, connector type),
pricing (₹/kWh), availability schedules, and photographs of your charging setup.
Support Communications: Any messages, feedback, complaints, or queries you submit to our
support team.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates and background location (with your permission) to
display nearby charging stations, provide turn-by-turn navigation, and power the live station map.
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
(advertising ID, FCM token), app version, and language settings.
Usage Data: Pages and screens viewed, search queries, booking history, charging session
logs (start time, end time, energy consumed in kWh), feature interactions, and crash reports.
Network Information: IP address, mobile carrier, connection type (Wi-Fi, 4G/5G), and
approximate location derived from IP.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
Social Sign-In: If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address,
and profile picture as permitted by the provider.
Payment Processors: Transaction confirmation status and reference IDs from our payment
gateway partners (e.g., Razorpay, Paytm).
Charging Network Partners: Station status, availability data, and compatibility information
from partner charging networks.
03 How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
Service Delivery: To display charging stations, process slot bookings, facilitate
navigation, manage your in-app wallet (credits), and enable the host-a-station feature.
Personalisation: To provide AI-powered charger recommendations based on your route,
vehicle, location, and charging habits.
Payments: To process wallet top-ups, booking credit deductions, host payouts, and maintain
transaction records.
Communication: To send booking confirmations, charging session receipts, system alerts,
service updates, and promotional offers (with your opt-in consent).
Safety & Security: To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access to accounts.
Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, fix bugs, improve app performance, and develop new
features.
Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or
enforceable governmental requests.
04 Information Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share
information in the following limited circumstances:
With Station Hosts: When you book a slot, your first name and vehicle type may be shared
with the host to facilitate the session. Your full contact details are never shared.
With Drivers (for Hosts): Station name, location, pricing, and availability that you set as
a host are visible publicly on the Platform.
Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist us with payment processing, cloud
hosting (Google Cloud / Firebase), analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and customer support — all
bound by strict data processing agreements.
Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental
authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ChargeXFinder, its users, or the public.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or
reorganisation, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction, with the same level of protection.
05 Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Google Cloud Platform and Firebase infrastructure, primarily
located in India. We implement industry-standard security measures, including:
SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit.
AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest.
Firebase Authentication with multi-factor authentication support.
Role-based access controls limiting internal access to authorised personnel only.
Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Data Retention: We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as
needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, personal data is permanently erased within 90 days, except
where retention is required by law (e.g., financial transaction records retained for up to 7 years under Indian
tax regulations).
06 Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access & Correction: You can view and update your profile information at any time within
the app settings.
Data Portability: Request a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used,
machine-readable format.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@dxora.com.
Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time. Note that this may
limit your ability to use certain features.
Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional communications via the link in our
emails or through app settings.
Location Permissions: Revoke location access through your device settings. Core
functionality such as the station map requires location access to function properly.
07 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (local storage, session tokens) to:
Maintain session state and authentication.
Remember user preferences and settings.
Analyse website traffic and usage patterns via Google Analytics.
Deliver relevant content and measure advertising effectiveness.
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your experience
on our website but will not impact the mobile app.
08 Third-Party Services
ChargeXFinder integrates with the following categories of third-party services, each governed by their own
privacy policies:
Google Maps Platform: For station maps, geocoding, and navigation. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Firebase (Google): For authentication, real-time database, cloud messaging (push
notifications), analytics, and crash reporting.
Payment Gateways: For processing wallet top-ups and transactions. Payment data is handled
directly by PCI DSS-compliant processors.
App Stores: Google Play and Apple App Store have their own data collection practices during
download and installation.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services independently.
09 Children's Privacy
ChargeXFinder is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and
all associated data. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us
immediately at support@dxora.com.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal
requirements, or business operations. When we make material changes:
